after having 3 babies in 4 yrs i got fat!! i was tired of always being out of breath. i was ashamed as i saw my refelction in store windows. and decided to do something about it. OK so i lost 50 pounds in only 4 months with this plan. But I really stuck to it. These shakes are only 160 calories, so if I wasnt satisfied with 1 shake, I knew a 2nd or half of a 2nd one wouldnt hurt. So, I drank one for breakfast, one for lunch and in between i drank campbells soup at hand, and at night a weight watchers dinner. I was trying to keep my calories 1000-1200 a day. The only problem is is that these shakes have artificial sweetener, so if you drink too many or too close to bedtime, at night , you have a sweet pasty taste in your mouth. So i suggest you do what i did and drink sensibly or eat sensibly after 3 pm.
i started at 200 pounds now i weigh 150. i have been off the shakes for almost 4 months and only gained 2-3 pounds cause it just got too hot to exercise. I have decided to buy more shakes and continue to replace breakfast and lunch.
now im proud to see my reflection in storefronts and love peoples reaction when they find out that i birthed 4 children

The atkins, vanilla flavor shake, is not formulated properly. It has small balls of the product unmixed with the fluid. Amazon should send all vanilla flavor back for a refund, and give all of us who bought it a refund also. I cannot give less that one star rating, or I would.

Based on the reviews of this product, I knew that this Vanilla Shake would probably be very thick or "gloppy" in consistency -- and it was. But I just put several chunks of ice in my hand shaker and about 4 ozs of water, shook it up, and had a nice-tasting shake. Yes, there is a bit of "chunkiness," similar to tapioca pudding seeds, but that didn't bother me. I like the fact that this shake has only 1 net carb, rather than 2 net carbs. And the price of $9.98 for 8 - 11oz containers is about half the price of my local drugstore. I don't know why anyone would buy the 12-pack on Amazon, as the cost per container is much higher.

We were on Atkins for a while before starting out new diet plan. We tried almost every flavor of shake on Amazon, at out local Wal-mart and Sam's Club. We really like all of the flavors except this one. We bought a case of these and while some were ok, most were so thick they tasted like there were chunks in them. We tried shaking them really good before opening them, and thought maybe our fridge was too cold, but there was nothing wrong with the other shakes in the fridge. So while I highly suggest Atkins, if you can stomach that kind of diet, and definitely suggest their shakes, I would not suggest this flavor.
