Nice alternative to left-margin spiralsMar 02, 2010
By RJL In my opinion, these Ampad top-bound spiral tablets have a much better feel and are easier to use in meetings and in the field than the traditional left-bound spiral notebooks. Plus this product has a place for time and date, and they tear away clean courtesy of a subtle perforation at the top. The front of each page is lined as a traditional notebook, and the back is quad-ruled (grids). The color is easy on the eyes. T

Best notepad you can buyFeb 15, 2011

If you're a freak about quality like me, this is the only way to go. Pages are thick, yet tear off easily. Writing on it makes you feel like whatever you write should be really important!
5-star quality, just a little pricey.

This notebook is my favorite Girl Friday accessory!Dec 12, 2010
By Jennifer R. Wright This is a nice notebook for writing in the field. The hard back makes it much better than a legal pad. The spiral top keeps the pages from creasing. The cream colored paper feels special. Its nostalgic look is also a lot of fun. And the quadrille backed paper is completely awesome for project planning.
There are better padsNov 24, 2011
By Dan D. I was a little disappointed with what I got for the money I spent, and I see the pad is up $1.00 since then. It is just an average pad. Some of the problems are: the big white label on the front cannot be removed, the cardboard backing is not as sturdy as stated in the description, the graph paper design on the back of each sheet shows through on the front of the sheets.
Someone could argue that the label is useful for indicating who owns the pad and the dates it was used. A more attractive label would have been better then. Also, some may like that the graph paper grid shows through. I find it visually annoying.
There are better pads for less money. Keep looking.
