Now I don't have to drive 100 miles to get anchoviesOct 05, 2010
By RLL Good Anchovies. Good price. And like the smaller container (you get three), as they are less likely to go bad.

Don't buy theseSep 03, 2011
By Richard M. Wetzel Bought three cans one of which was bulging and rotten. Anchovies in the other two were marginally better than what is commonly available in a grocery. Get the salt packed - much better.
Product Appears to Have Been Improperly StoredAug 27, 2011
By deepackets Ambiance, the packager of the fillets, provides an excellent product. It appears that the first can I opened had been stored in extreme heat, to the point that the fillets were shrunk into a mass like cooked fish that made it impossible to separate the individual fillets without breaking into pieces.
If the rest of the cans are in the same condition, I will cancel the regular delivery.
I have never had a problem with the larger tins that I regularly purchase, and I hope this is an anomaly. I love anchovies, and I will paste the shrunken fillets. although I prefer firm separable fillets.
