bought this because I use a lot of anchovies. the fillets are strangely firm, and do not have the same yummy fishiness and salt of the little cans I was using, even the cheapy cheap ones. I might just throw the whole thing into a food processer to make it easier to use. would be good for someone who wants a very mild anchovy. or uses them whole on pizza, ect. this is a very good buy, although I wonder why the anchovies are so different. going to have to take this up with the Peruvians.

the first delivery came in and was unusable. bulged cans showed that this anchovis time had passed. After calling I received withour questions asked a new shipment and they cam in good actually very good and they tast very goood. all over all a good deal.

Wow...pounds of quality anchovies, so inexpensive! Seriously, I thought it impossible to purchase anchovies for such a low cost, but it's for real...consider refrigerating whatever is left from your initial use - there are plenty of anchovies here to satisfy for some time.

This is a great product. The fillets are clean, tasty and floating in oil. Better than any European products. The price is outstanding. A great value for a lot of anchovy fillets. This product will last you a long time.

A very good product at a great price. For utilitarian cooking use, you can't beat this deal. We are very happy with this purchase, and we have to thank Amazon for making it available because wherever else you look, anchovies have become EXPENSIVE!!
