Al Wadi is a name I trust. This halva can keep for a long time, once I open the container, I pop it in the fridge where it keeps for a long time and it is always a tasty and healthy snack. Try it with a banana on pita, it is awesome and provides a great burst of energy.

I gave this product 4 stars because it's not quite as tasty as the pistachio halva also made by Al Wadi. Of the 3 kinds I tried (pistachio, plain & with chocolate), it was the plain that had the most sesame oil on top of the product when I broke the seal (and I had a CASE of these, mind you, not just one). I loved that sesame oil! I tried to save it to kind of add to the latter servings of halva toward the end of the tub that would be a tad more dry. I think that plain halva would be a little hard for the typical American palate to adjust to because we don't typically eat things that are bitter. That bitter taste is caused by the halawa extract, which was also the reason I tried this product! Halawa has been famed for centuries for increasing the quantity and quality of breast milk, so I had to check it out. Indeed, I pumped DOUBLE my normal amount the very first day I tried halva and that was true for the entire time I was on the product. My stash eventually ran out so I'm back for more. This product is a thick paste made from ground sesame seed kernels, sugar and a few other ingredients including the halawa extract. It will give you gas, so get some Bean-O to use with it! I would buy this product again and also recommend it to others especially any breastfeeding mother struggling with insufficient milk production.

hello i have been trying to return this item Alwadi al akhdar halwa/halva traditional 16 oz. [pack of six} when ordering i pressed the wrong button i was trying to get the sugarless halvah i have alzheimers disease and should not have pressed the order button may yu please make an exception and let me send this item back....thanks

This halvah is very good, though I prefer Joyva, this halvah is more cost effective/less expensive and is a quality product. I will order again.

I bought it and taste is great!
If you purchase it, you want to keep it in fridge.I had couple green plastic leads broke cause of keeping it in box that they arrived.
