Excellent product -- using this solution makes my contacts feel very comfortable for the time I'm wearing them. Unfortunately, this product is being discontinued due to less customers wearing the gas permeable form of contact lenses (see Alcon's website). I wish they would change their mind and keep the solution going.

Too bad this is being discontinued as it is the best thing on the market for CRT patients that wear the corrective lenses. The other recommended stuff is very goopy and this is just like using regular saline solution. I have not found anything that beats Unique PH.

This is the best RGP lens solution ever made, period. But, it's been discontinued by Alcon because RGP's share of the contact lens market has declined, and apparently Alcon can't sell the volume it needs to make money.
Please, Alcon, reconsider this decision. Charge more if you must, but please bring this back.

Unique pH is now being manufactured again by AlconJun 17, 2008

Unique pH customer service indicated that they have decided to continue manufacturing the product in the US. In fact, after contacting the company, they sent me a free bottle without even asking. They indicated that Amazon is one of two sites where they will continue to offer this product. Amazon is cheaper. This is by far the best solution for gas permeable lens. I have Boston XO and this is the only product that will allow me to comfortably wear my lens for more than 8 hours. I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from dry eye syndrome and is a gas permeable contact lens wearer. I do use other drops along with this product to relieve dry eye symptoms.
