This item arrived in an inedible condition. I chilled it, and open opening the jar I found the top layer had dried and congealed to the point where it was like a sort of low viscosity gummy candy substance. I couldn't dig anything out with a spoon. It was horrible. Both jars were like this.
Amazon provided a refund with no return immediately, so you're protected if you want to give it a shot. Maybe it was a bad batch for me.

This product came on time and in good shape. I can't complain about the Amazon service. The product itself is not good. It is almost inedible. I normally love salmon roe. The only use I have found for this procuct was to use it in small amounts to decorate a canape or deviled egg. I will not order again!

I was hoping to at least maybe get something of quality but instead I got over salted caviar that had no taste to it. Don't recommend and will not buy anything from again!
