Unlike most pad thai sauces, this one does NOT have fish in it. It has an authentic restaurant-style flavor without the animal product. Great with wide rice noodles and some mixed veggies!
Also try their Peanut Bake, great on Quorn brand "chicken" tenders or cutlets, and goes great with Pad Thai!

Quality, taste,versatility & price makes this a great food product to use your imagination with. It's flavorful without being overbearing, the ingredients are fresh-tasting & the very useful size & container make it a 'must-have' in your fridge. I've used it as suggested but also made rice with it (try a little orange juice for liquid), I've marinated pork loin, put it on a beef roast w/ extra tamarind paste, made soup with spinach, noodles & left-over chicken...Versatility is it's middle name. Use your imagination & enjoy this delcious sauce. Purchased during a 'Grocery sale' & joining Prime for shipping gives this added bonus.

I had a subscription to this product, that's how good it is! Buying it in this manner is far more economical than the Pad Thai packets they sell at the store. LOVE this stuff! So addicting!

Between this, and the coconut soup, we're in olfactory heaven right now (stranded hours away from the nearest decent Thai restaurant).
When you can't go out, and you don't want to fuss with hard-to-find ingredients and lengthy cooking, this is a fantastic alternative! A little on the spicy side for some tastes perhaps but we LOVE it!

The ingredients listed on Amazon are DIFFERENT than what is on the package. I cannot eat wheat, so I cannot use this product - AND there is no way to complain directly to Amazon (that I can find) and you cannot return grocery items. I am so disappointed with AMAZON!!
