I looked all over to find this light and refreshing cologne. I loved it many years ago, and it endures. Shipping was quick, and the price as I expected - and worth it.

I have used this brand since my teen years in Panamá. I also have worn
the Roger et Galet which is the French version of the "Water from Cologne"
or best known as Kölnisch Wasser. The word cologne which is used more generically, derived from this product. It is a great product. Very refreshing, and not too pungent in it's aroma. It is my "Summer Cologne".
I recommend it to anyone looking for a mild, subtle, refreshing and rejuvenating feel on a hot summer day.

Nice to put on, evaporates, and then is only smelled if 1) someone is very close to you, or 2) if you sweat. Perfect.
And, I get the pleasure of wearing something my great grandmother wore back in the 20's.

I have been using this product for many, many years. The product which I received was good, but seemingly not exactly what it had been in the past. While I like it, it is not up to par with the former product. Also, it has a very slightly yellow cast which I do not recall with the earlier product. Has the formulation changed?
A response would be appreciated.

The fresh scent reminds me of Spring orange blossoms and gentle orchard breezes. I first discovered this cologne when living in the west on the border of an orange orchard, 4711 reminds me of those days.
I recently purchased another bottle in anticipation of Spring and Summer, 4711 is my hands-down favorite for both seasons. It is light and subtle enough to leave you smelling good without being overpowering.
Overall a very worthy purchase for the price!
