Try the Apple cake recipeDec 16, 2009
By GM I used the apple spice cake recipe on the box. It was excellent. You wouldn't know it's gluten free.

Versatile Scrumptious BarSep 02, 2010
By lczecho This Bar Mix is better than some of the regular flour type mixes I have used. So far I have made the Pumpkin bars, and then I got creative and added the equivalent amount of shredded carrots as what it calls for Zucchini, and made a carrot cake bar (with raisins too). I actually put them in cupcake pans, and they made great cupcakes. It is moist and tasty and as said in the other post, you would NEVER know it was gluten free. I highly recommend!!
Worst gluten free baking experience ever.May 03, 2012

I recently purchased the above product because I have an important event tomorrow which requires I serve something Gluten Free. Instead of purchasing something pre-made for almost as much, I opted to try this mix. I spent $7.99 at my local store and added organic, free range eggs and organic apple sauce as suggested. I made them exactly as directed to and what happened next was easily the biggest disaster in my Gluten Free baking experience ever.
I should preface this by saying, I have been baking Gluten Free for over 6 years now and opted to buy this mix out of laziness. I have never had this happen in any baking expedition, ever. After 3 times the amount of time listed on the box, the bars were still not solidified (not just a little unset, but genuinely boiling). In addition, over half had spilled out all over the pan I'd had the unexpected foresight to put down underneath the baking container and ruined both containers as well.
All in all I'm out $ 7.99 for the mix $ 2 for the eggs $ 1.50 for the apple sauce $ 20.00 for the ruined pans $ 8 to buy something pre-made
So, your product has cost me a little under $40 ($39.49) -- not including time -- to try and I am wildly disappointed.

OH SO YUMMY!Dec 21, 2011
By L. Buoni Just made these this evening, they are wonderful. They are actually more moist than any regular bar/spice cake I have made. I had to bake them a bit longer than the directions say to. This mix also makes a full 9x13 pan full! (Unlike some other cake mixes.)
There are directions for making apple, banana, cherry, carrot and zucchini bars out of this mix. The consistency is more cake like than bar like. I added more applesauce and cut down on the oil a little. So glad I tried these!
